A wise old preacher said that your right to swing your fist ended in front of the tip of his nose. A demonstrator’s right to demonstrate ends one step before he interferes with someone else’s right to drive on a street or walk on a sidewalk. It definitely ends before it damages someone else’s property, health or life. Demonstrating today harms more innocent people than it corrects guilty people. Damaging other people’s property will not win their vote or their help. Damaging property makes enemies. Two wrongs do not make a right. God never rewards wrong-doing in any form and neither should we. Demonstrators right to paint things ends at their property line. Demonstrators rights end outside of other people’s windows. They end outside of other people’s cars and property. They have no right to throw a bottle of ice or a brick at a cop. Demonstrators who keep demonstrating when laws are broken are aiding and abetting criminals. At that point they should lose their right to demonstrate and should be ordered go home or be arrested. They have no right to prevent police from catching criminals. Demonstrations often resemble group temper-tantrums. Individuals who are not concerned for the rights of others do not know right from wrong. Individuals who do not know right from wrong should not be followed. They are stretching rights into wrongs. They should NEVER get what they want until they do things that are right. Many demonstrators are in a class with black-mailers. And by the way, they are bullies and cowards. They seldom do these things without a gang of fellow wrong-doers. Wrong-doing is wrong-doing. Period. If you can demonstrate courteously without doing something wrong to someone else, go for it.
