Too often I am all wrapped up in myself. But by of the grace of God I am sometimes all wrapped up in Him and sometimes I am wrapped up in meeting some needs of others. I know many individuals who seem to always be all wrapped up in themselves. Being all wrapped up in ourselves is sin.
2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
I want to give you a couple verses that can help you to examine yourself.
Luke 10:27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
Mark 8:35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
Are you living your life for yourself? Are you always wrapped up in yourself or are you sometimes wrapped up in God and others? Do you ever ask Him to wrap you up in His will? Does He ever do that for you? Helpful questions don’t you think?
