Hosea 9:17 My God will cast them away, because they did not hearken unto him: and they shall be wanderers among the nations.
God would not be much of a God if He did not or could not tell us what we need to know. He speaks to us most accurately and clearly in His word, the Bible. We hear the voice of God most understandably when we read the Bible or hear it. The problem is not with His communication, it is with our listening, believing, understanding and obeying. The most dangerous and harmful thing we can do to ourselves is to ignore what God says to us in the Bible. The worst thing that will ever happen to a mortal man is to end up in the Lake of Fire forever. Rejecting God’s word gets that result. Our excuses for not studying and hearing it will not hold water. In addition to the Bible He communicates with us through His Creation and through our consciences.
Romans 1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
Proverbs 29:1 He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.
