Eternal Life is More Important Than Temporary Life

If we could perform an autopsy on every soul that has ever died or will ever die we would discover that the cause of death for every one of them is sin. There are many means of death but only one cause. Heart attacks, strokes, cancer etc. are just the means of death, not the cause. We should be more concerned with the cause of death than with the means. The means of death happen at the end of our physical life and the beginning our eternal life. Some will exist forever in Heaven after their physical death and some will exist forever in The Lake Of Fire. There are sometimes remedies that temporarily delay our physical death. But there is a cure for spiritual death that eliminates it forever. Physical death is when our hearts and brains die. Spiritual death is separation from God. We are all separated from God until He connects with us through Jesus Christ and gives us eternal life.

1 John 3:14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

John 8:23 And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. 24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die (physically and spiritually) in your sins.

John 11:26a And whosoever liveth (spiritually) and believeth in me shall never die (spiritually).

Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

1 John 5:11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath (eternal) life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not (eternal) life.
