Genesis 45:5 Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life. 7 And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance. 8 So now it was not you that sent me hither, but God: and he hath made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.
Genesis 50:19 And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God? 20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.
His brothers sold Joseph into slavery, he was put in prison then put in charge of the prison and became second in command of all of Egypt. God was in control before the curses, during the curses and forever after them. When there are problems in a Christian’s life, God put them there or permitted them for His purposes. He changes their path from a curse to a blessing. They were headed for Hell and He turns them toward Heaven. For unbelievers, the curses will be forever and get worse in Hell and in the Lake of Fire.
Deuteronomy 23:5 Nevertheless the LORD thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; but the LORD thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because the LORD thy God loved thee.
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
