How can we give thanks when bad things happen to us and life seems unbearable? We can give thanks in everything BECAUSE GOD KEEPS EVERY PROMISE HE EVER MADE.
John 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
Psalms 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

So why do so many undesirable things happen to believers? It is because our loving and all-wise God knows we need them.
