Be like God. Ask Him to take charge of your heart, life, soul, body and resources. He can make the best use of everything you are and have. With Him in charge you can be satisfied. Without His will and power you cannot. And, of course, our flesh will be a sinful enemy stealing satisfaction from us until the day it dies.
Psalms 17:15 As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.
Genesis 1:26a And God said, Let us make man in our image
Psalms 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
This moment is part of for evemore. There are pleasures that come with being like Jesus right now. We can become like Jesus in that we can become sons and daughters of God. God wants us to behave like Jesus and He will help us do that. Jesus is co-equal with the Father and the Holy Spirit. All three members of the Godhead are always and forever totally satisfied with themselves because they have never committed a sin and never will. In Heaven we too will be unable to sin.
1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
1 Peter 1:22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: 23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
Acts 15:8 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us; 9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.
1 John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
1 Timothy 6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
