I woke up this morning with a heartful of gratitude for your prayers and for God’s answers. He has restored me to some of the nursing home ministry I lost when the lock-down began. In some ways the ministry is much better. I barely knew the activity director before the lockdown. I learned yesterday that she became a Christian about a dozen years ago. I have never dealt with a more helpful activity director. She had Covid 19 and is now giving her blood plasma twice a week to help others.
The facility has a couple of buildings that are now assisted living rather than exclusively memory care, which means that more of the residents will be better able to understand and be blessed by God’s Word. While I am looking through large plate glass windows at the residents so I can see them and they can see me, I was delighted to recognize some of my favorite and most faithful Christian residents from before the lock-down. Their smiles are more beautiful than before! What joy!!
Also, the hernia surgery I had before the lockdown was very successful. I am able to stand and minister for 45 minutes or so virtually pain-free. The last 10 or 15 minutes had often been quite painful before.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS!
