John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Whether they are brilliant or ignorant, natural men do not receive the things of the Spirit of God.
1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
A natural man is a man who is not yet a child of God. He cannot be a spiritual teacher or spiritual learner. He has not been given the Holy Spirit. Important truths and power will always be lacking from his learning and teaching. So how do we become more than natural men? By becoming children of God. And we become children of God by receiving Jesus.
John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
As many as received Christ is an unknown number. But the number of individuals who receive Christ is the same number as the number of individuals who become sons of God and the same number as those to whom the Holy Spirit has been sent.
Galatians 4:6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
