Perdition: ruin or loss (physical, spiritual or eternal), damnable, damnation, destruction, die, perish, pernicious ways, waste. As Christians, we should not be so vexed at the world’s & govt’s ignorance! Without the knowledge, wisdom, and understanding of God’s Word they are led by Satan, the deceiver and subtle destroyer, into perdition. Our battle is with our own flesh (Galatians 5:17) while the govt and all its devilish minions draw many to Satan’s will. (Eph. 6:10-18; Ps. 2:1-12)
Read these simple Bible verses about the way the world is going. Unfortunately it is going the way of perdition (Matt. 7:13,14). Let’s Rejoice in Christ that we are on the winning side and not be vexed by the ignorant way of the conceited govt and all their puppet string pulling power mongers. It Is God Who Triumphs, He Is The Almighty LORD God. None is greater than Him and His Glory!!
John 17:12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
Philippians 1:28 And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.
2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
Satan & our foolish fleshly world is stuck in the “mystery of sin”!
1 Timothy 6:9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
Riches that men crave drag them into satan’s snare.
Hebrews 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. 39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
Verse 39 describes us, God’s saints as way above the fleshly works of this world.
2 Peter 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
Revelation 17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
Revelation 17:8 sums up the end of their folly, then judgment, many consumed in their sins and rags of self-righteousness.
