It means one has become a child of God by a spiritual birth and a spiritual adoption.
John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Romans 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
It means that in addition to receiving Jesus we receive the other children of God He sends our way and we receive the Father and the Holy Spirit.
John 13:20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
Galatians 4:6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
It means that one has been born of the living water spoken of by Jesus which shall also flow out of the one born again.
John 4:10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. 4:11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
It means that an individual that was on a path toward Hell and the Lake of Fire is now on the path to the paradise called Heaven. To be continued.
