Before I received Jesus I was totally unable to do anything that pleased God or satisfied me. I need God’s daily work on me so I can be a labourer together with Him.
1 Corinthians 3:9 For we are labourers TOGETHER WITH GOD: ye are God's husbandry, ye are GOD’S BUILDING.
Romans 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
2 Corinthians 6:1 We then, as workers TOGETHER WITH HIM, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
Colossians 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened (made alive) TOGETHER WITH HIM, having forgiven you all trespasses;
1 Thessalonians 5:10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live TOGETHER WITH HIM.
There is no other team-mate like God. He has all power and without Him we can do nothing.
Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
Revelation 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
God’s pleasure is what He created us and all things for. He recreated us to be labourers with Him, not against Him. I was an enemy of God but not now.
Romans 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
